Police Blotter: Aggravated Battery, DUI & Retail Theft Arrests

Arrests made by Bolingbrook police and other law enforcement agencies.

The following property damage/theft and violence/traffic incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and Will County Sheriff’s office:

Anish K. Veeraghanta, 18, 402 Marshall Ash, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s police on a charge of aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon on Sept. 16, 2013. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Leroy H. Hicks, 29, 521 King Arthur Way, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of driving on a suspended license on Sept. 16, 2013. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Jose O. Alday, 19, 387 Meadowlark, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s police on a charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 16, 2013. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Sept. 3: Two watches were taken from a residence on the 2100 block of Muirfield Trail between Aug. 28-Sept. 3. Loss valued at $5,200.

Sept. 3: Officers responded to the 100 block of B. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. The victim left a wallet on a table and when the victim returned to retrieve it, the wallet was gone.

Sept. 4: Officers were called to Meineke Car Care, 1330 W. Boughton Road, for the report of a theft. The suspect took their vehicle from the business without paying for repair services.

Sept. 5: A shipping container with tires was taken from the 1000 block of Veterans Pkwy. between Sept. 4-5.

Sept. 5: David Ostrowski, 38, was charged with criminal trespass to residence on the 300 block of Grosvenor Court at 7:09 a.m.
