Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, DUI & Identity Theft Arrests

Also, police report that a residential burglary on Sweetgum Drive results in damage and losses totaling $2,690.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:

Dec. 2: Cindy Beckerman, 47, 645 Goldenrod Drive, was charged with identify theft at 10:19 a.m.

Dec. 2: Officers were called to the parking lot on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle. A safe, iPod and U.S. currency were removed from the trunk between 5-5:20 p.m. Loss valued at $350.

Dec. 2: Christopher Bisto, 35, 955 Charlela Lane, Elk Grove Village, was charged with driving too fast for conditions and DUI following a traffic stop at Boughton Road & I-355 at 7:56 p.m.

Dec. 2: Edmundo Garcia-Castillo, 8108 Waterbury Drive, Woodridge, was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license and speeding following a traffic stop on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 3:53 p.m.

Dec. 3: Julio Guzman, 18, 235 Murphy Road, Romeoville, was charged with domestic battery, aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer following a call to the 700 block of FeatherSound Drive for a domestic disturbance at 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 3: Officers were called to the 400 block of Degas Circle for the report of a residential burglary. A sliding rear door was forced open. Two TV’s, video games, laptop, desktop, three watches, fur coat, speakers and set of golf clubs were taken between Dec. 2-3. Loss valued at $30,900.

Dec. 3: Officers responded to the 300 block of Sweetgum Drive for the report of residential burglary. A screen was removed from a lower level window. A Nintendo, tablet computer, two laptops and jar of coins were taken between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Loss/damage valued at $2,690.

Dec. 3: Officers responded to the 500 block of East Briarcliff Road for the report of theft of motor vehicle parts. The vehicle was stripped of parts in the parking lot between Dec. 2-3.
