Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Possession of Cannabis & Warrant Arrests

Also, police report a hole was cut in an overhead door during a burglary on Territorial Court.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Oct. 31: Gilberto Damian, 32, 20 Fernwood, Bolingbrook, was arrested on charges of domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 20: A 17-year-old was charged with burglary from motor vehicle and resisting a peace officer after taking a cell phone from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Ozark Drive at 6:10 p.m.

Oct. 20: Officers were called to Public Storage, 615 E. Boughton Road, for the report of criminal damage to property and theft. Numerous storage units had the locks cut and rummaged through between Oct. 19-20. Unknown what was taken from each unit.

Oct. 20: Anthony Brown, 37, 2144 S. Lawndale Drive, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop on the 100 block of E. North Frontage Road at 2:29 a.m.

Oct. 21: Officers responded to Territorial Court for the report of a burglary. A hole was cut in an overhead door and numerous toner cartridges were taken between Oct. 18-21.

Oct. 21: A cell phone was taken from a table in the library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, between 3:30-3:45 p.m. Loss valued at $50.

Oct. 21: Officers were called to the 304 building of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a residential burglary. A window was found open and a TV was taken between Oct. 18-21.

Oct. 21: Trenton Smith, 22, 327 Blackfoot Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane & Creekside Drive at 11:46 p.m.

Oct. 21: Lorenz Brown, 27, 527 W. 14th Place, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis, driving on a suspended license and improper lighting following a traffic stop on the 300 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 1:10 p.m.

Oct. 21: Officers responded to the 100 block of East Boughton Road for the report of a battery at 4:19 p.m.

Oct. 21: Officers responded to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for the report of an aggravated battery. The victim and witness were walking on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 10 p.m.
