Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft & Warrant Arrests

Also, police report a 19-year-old woman is charged with taking a TV from the Quality Inn on Remington Blvd.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Dec. 16: Kyle Marcus Scott-Reed, 23, 417 Rockhurst, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Dec. 1: Kirk Payton, 36, 502 Dubois Circle, was charged with DUI, no insurance and speeding following a traffic stop at Winston Drive and Boughton Road at 3:44 a.m.

Dec. 5: Salvador Vargas, 25, 176 N. Lancaster Drive, was charged with two in-state warrants following a traffic stop at Briarcliff Road & Schmidt Road at 4:07 a.m.

Dec. 6: Jasmine Harris, 19, 371 Kirkwood Circle, was charged with theft at Quality Inn, 175 Remington Blvd., after taking a TV at 8 a.m.

Dec. 6: Officers were called to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Suspects concealed clothing items inside other scanned merchandise and exited the store at 2:50 p.m. Loss valued at $50.

Dec. 6: Rory Steinbach, 29, 205 Hadleigh Road, was charged with two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Rockhurst Road & Route 53 at 11:21 p.m.
