Police Blotter: Robbery, Aggravated Battery & DUI Arrests

Police report a Hyundai trailer was removed from a parking lot on the 900 block of Veterans Parkway.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:

Oct. 23: Ricardo Mendoza, 39, 158 S. Lindsey, Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery/physical contact. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 23: Helen M. Lares, 26, 281 Ironbark, Bolingbrook, was arrested on a warrant out of Cook County. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 13: A 1996 white Hyundai trailer was removed from the parking lot on the 900 block of Veterans Pkwy. between Oct. 11-12.

Oct. 13: Officers responded to a business parking lot on the 400 block of Gibraltar Drive for the report of theft of motor vehicle parts. An unknown subject attempted to remove tires from a vehicle at 1:26 a.m. The subject drove off when approached by security.

Oct. 13: Officers responded to the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. Suspects approached the victim after exiting a business at 4:40 p.m. One suspect attempted to take a wallet from the rear pocket while another grabbed the victim’s cell phone. All suspects ran off. Angel Velez, 18, 226 Beford Road, was charged with robbery and aggravated battery.

Oct. 13: Orlando Morales, 25, 204 Fuller Lane, was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at 2:38 a.m.
