Police Blotter: Shots Fired, Criminal Damage to Property & Theft Incidents

Officers respond to report of criminal damage to property on Pierce Court.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:

Oct. 5: Officers were called to a parking lot on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. A debit card was taken from a purse.

Oct. 5: Officers were called to the 300 block of Pierce Court for the report of criminal damage to property. Suspect punctured two tires to a vehicle between 7:16 and 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 5: Officers were called to Fountaindale Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, for the report of a theft. Several juvenile subjects removed numerous DVD/games from the library without checking them out at 2:44 p.m. Loss valued at $200.

Oct. 5: Officers responded to the 100 block of Malibu Drive from the report of shots fired. Two victims were shot and transported for their injuries. Martez Doss, 21, 9 Girard Blvd., Joliet, was charged with failure to signal, improper lane usage, two counts of traffic violation, speeding, no insurance, seat belt violation, aggravated fleeing to elude officer and a crash involving police vehicle at Zarley Blvd. and Emerson Place, Joliet, 12:33 a.m.

Oct. 5: Nicholas Weesies, 19, 129 Galewood Drive, was charged with resisting a peace officer, in-state warrant and disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Preston Drive at 3:33 a.m.

Oct. 5: Demetrius Jenkins, 23, 417 Cumberland Lane, was charged with battery after a call to the 500 block of North Pinecrest Road for the report of a fight at 3:04 a.m.
