Police Blotter: Unlawful Use of Weapon, Resisting a Peace Officer & Warrant Arrests

Also, police report a laptop, iPod and cash are swiped during a motor vehicle burglary incident on Langford Drive.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Nov. 19: Danyale L. Simmons, 46, 429 Mallview, Bolingbrook, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of operating a vehicle with expired registration, driving on suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Nov. 8: Calvin Brady, 20, 209 Galewood Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 500 block of Remington Blvd. at 9 p.m.

Nov. 8: Tony Gill, 22, 416 Olde Mill, Joliet, was charged with unlawful use of weapon, an equipment violation and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Lindsey Lane at 2:32 p.m.

Nov. 8: Officers responded to the 700 block of N. Janes Ave. for the report of an aggravated assault. The offender threatened the victim after a traffic crash and drove off at 11:18 a.m.

Nov. 8: A Nintendo DS and loose change was taken from a vehicle parked in the driveway on the 200 block of Seneca Court between 1-2 a.m.

Nov. 8: A Maltese dog was taken from Petland, 744 E. Boughton Road, at 10:31 a.m. after the unknown subject placed the dog in purse and exited the store without paying.

Nov. 8: Jerrell Johnson, 23, 135 Somerset Lane, was charged with resisting a peace officer at 2:47 p.m.

Nov. 8: Officers were called to the 400 block of Langford Drive for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle. A laptop, iPod and U.S. currency were taken sometime overnight.
