Police Blotter: Woman Charged with Domestic Battery & Child Abandonment on Tracy Way
Also, police report theft incidents involving a lawnmower taken from a residence on Bloomfield Drive and a bike removed from a garage on Pacific Drive.
The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:
Oct. 10: Shinika Jones, 24, 366 N. Broadway St., Joliet, was charged with domestic battery, child abandonment and an in-state warrant following a call to the 100 block of Tracy Way at 3:10 p.m.
Oct. 10: A wallet was taken from the center console of a vehicle on the 200 block of Seabury Road between Oct. 10-11.
Oct. 10: A wallet was taken from a residence on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive between 8-8:30 a.m.
Oct. 10: A purse was taken from a shopping cart on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 4:45 p.m.
Oct. 10: Officers were called to a business on the 1000 block of Windham Pkwy. for the report of a motor vehicle theft. Four trailers were reported missing between Sept. 1-Oct. 10.
Oct. 10: A 2012 Stoughton Trailer was taken from the 500 block of S. Joliet Road between July 1-Oct. 10.
Oct. 10: A lawnmower was taken from a residence on the 400 block of Bloomfield Drive between Oct. 8-10. Loss valued at $500.
Oct. 10: A bike was removed from a garage on the 300 block of Pacific Drive between 6-6:15 p.m.
Oct. 10: Candice Copening, 33, 268 Plainview Drive was charged with criminal trespass to property at 3:05 p.m.
