Police Blotter: Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Controlled Substance Arrests

Also, police report a battery incident that took place in a business on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department:

Jan. 2: A 17-year-old was charged with unlawful use of a weapon on the 600 block of Londonberry Drive at 6:19 p.m.

Jan. 3: Officers responded to the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a battery. The victim states they were punched in the face, then suspect then damaged a display case on the business’s counter and fled the store at 7:25 p.m.

Jan. 3: Officers were called to a business on the 100 block of Remington Blvd. for the report of a theft. Network switches were taken from inventory. Loss valued at $214,000.

Jan. 3: Kate Steinhoff, 26, 309 Northridge Ave., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, failure to signal and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at Braircliff Road & Olympic Drive at 3:01 p.m.

Jan. 3: A 1997 white semi-trailer was removed from the 1200 block of West Remington Blvd. between Jan. 2-3.
