Report: Bolingbrook Home Value About Average
Typical four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in city sells for $267,559, a new report shows.
The value of Bolingbrook homes rate in the middle of the pack when compared to the surrounding communities, according to a recent report from the Coldwell Banker real estate firm.
Bolingbrook’s average home listing price for a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house comes in at $267,559, the report finds.
Compare that to neighboring communities and Bolingbrook’s home value is about average.

Lemont’s home value rated the lowest with the average listing price at $458,876. Romeoville, meanwhile, rated as the market with the most value, with an average price costing home buyers $204,990.
Theoretically, that means a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Bolingbrook would cost nearly a $200,000 more if listed in Lemont or $60,000 less if listed in Romeoville.

The survey reviewed 139 real estate markets in Illinois and found Kankakee ($86,621) led the list as the most affordable market, while the report identified Lake Forest ($753,593) as the state’s most expensive market.
