2012 Chicago Bears Predictions
So where will the Bears end up this season? I go game by game and predict the Bears 2012 season.
Now that the Pre-Season is finally over we can get on to more important things...games that actually count! This is the time where every team has the same shot at being Super Bowl Champions as one another, where we can all make bold predictions that will surely never actually happen. Below is a game by game prediction for the entire 2012 season with the caveat that the main pieces of the team stay (and Urlacher comes back) healthy for the remainder of the season.
Week 1 - September 9 (CBS @ 12pm) vs. Indianapolis Colts - W 28-13 (1-0)
Week 2 - September 13 (Thur, NFL @ 7:20pm) @ Green Bay Packers - L 20-24 (1-1)

Week 3 - September 23 (FOX @ 12pm) vs. St. Louis Rams - W 34-10 (2-1)
Week 4 - October 1 (Mon, ESPN @ 7:30pm) @ Dallas Cowboys - W 24-17 (3-1)

Week 5 - October 7 (FOX @ 3:05pm) @ Jacksonville Jaguars - W 31-15 (4-1)

Week 14 - December 9 (FOX @ 12pm) @ Minnesota Vikings - W 24-7 (10-3)
Week 15 - December 16 (FOX @ 12pm) vs. Green Bay Packers - L 24-27 (10-4)
Week 16 - December 23 (FOX @ 3:25pm) @ Arizona Cardinals - W 30-14 (11-4)
Week 17 - December 30 (FOX 12pm) @ Detroit Lions - L 30-34 (11-5)
Final Regular Season Record - 11-5 (2nd in NFC North, Wild Card Berth)
After a tough season I predict the Bears will end up 11-5 with a Wild Card Playoff Berth behind the Packers in the NFC North. I also believe the Bears will win their 1st Round Playoff game. I do not believe they will make the NFC Championship game however, losing their 2nd round game on the road.
My Super Bowl prediction is Green Bay vs. Houston with the Texans finally winning it.
