Visit with some nuns who run a psychiatric hospital in Minsk, Belarus. We may think mental health care in Illinois is bad but it's almost non-existent in Belarus. The nuns will be raising money by offering handmade icons, crucifixes, wood & alabaster crosses, vestments, and other items, "made with prayer and love in the workshops of the Convent" and other locations.
Come see their beautiful items and consider making a purchase or a donation. You can learn more about the nuns, their hospital, and their order on their website (use Google and click on the translate button at the top of your browser to read the text in English!): www.obitel-minsk.by
