Senator McGuire to host Town Hall Meeting in Bolingbrook

CREST HILL— Senator Pat McGuire (D-Crest Hill) will host three town hall meetings in Senate District 43 between April 22 and 24. The town hall meetings, which are open to the public, will give area residents an opportunity to discuss state and local issues.

“The Illinois General Assembly will spend the month of May crafting the state budget,” McGuire said. “I look forward to discussing with the voters of Senate District 43 how to fund vital state services, especially those needed by seniors, veterans, schoolchildren, and the disabled.”

The meetings will be held in the evening at municipal offices in Bolingbrook, Romeoville and Joliet, locations convenient to area residents.

“Two-way communication is vital to democracy,” McGuire said.  “I appreciate Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar, Romeoville Mayor John Noak and Joliet Mayor Tom Giarrante opening their facilities to me and the constituents we serve together.”

McGuire encourages anyone with questions or concerns about Illinois to join him at the town hall meetings. For more information, or to submit questions ahead of time, please contact Senator McGuire’s Crest Hill office at (815) 207-4445 or email him via www.senatorpatmcguire.com.
