Jamie McGee Elementary School’s Leadership Club has launched a campaign to collect used books for children 6th grade and younger who may not otherwise have books in their home.
The Children’s Book Drive runs through May 12. Books should be brought to the Bolingbrook school, 179 Commonwealth Dr.
The Leadership Club’s goal is to be able to donate 3,000 books to Bernie’s Book Bank which is dedicated to connecting children and families with books they may need.
