Volunteers Need Your Help to Bring Donations to Oklahoma Tornado Victims

A group of volunteers have plenty of donations to deliver -- but need to raise funds before they can make a second trip to Oklahoma.

A local group of volunteers hope to make a second trip to Moore, OK, to deliver pallets of donations to tornado victims.

But they need your help to do so.

"We have had an overwhelming response from people who have given us pallets of donations, but we have absolutely no way of getting them there without a little help," said volunteer Diane Guzman, of Bolingbrook, who made the first trip to Oklahoma over Memorial Day weekend.

The group needs help to cover gas, food, lodging and any emergency repairs on the truck. They hope to raise $2,000.

You can help make their second trip possible by donating here.

The trip was organized by WIN (Women in Need), a non-profit organization founded by Christina Diamond. The other volunteers on the first trip were Sean Ragusa, Ryan Jandura and Robert Gryder.
