Brooks Cheerleading Squad Qualifies for State Championships
A first-place finish in Rockford has the Brooks Middle School cheerleading squad revved up for an appearance in the Illinois state finals in Springfield in January.
Three cheers are in order here for the Bolingbrook Brooks Middle School cheerleading squad.
Come to think of it, that's not going to be enough.
The Brooks squad took first place in the Rockford East cheer competition and qualified for the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association state championships Jan. 4-5 in Springfield, according to a Valley View School District news release.
The Brooks team is coached by Traci Falese.
