Kindergartners 'Reign' During Jonas Salk Elementary School Walk for Diabetes
Annual fundraiser goes on as planned despite poor weather conditions.
So, it rained.
The dark and dreary weather Wednesday did nothing to dampen the bright spirits of students at Bolingbrook's Jonas Salk Elementary School.
Instead of walking outside around the school building, kindergartners walked through the halls and the gym during Jonas Salk's annual fundraising Walk for Diabetes, according to a Valley View School District news release.
And word is they reigned supreme.
