Rainy Days Go Away!

Swimming pool advice

I'm ready for the sunshine and swimming pool! I can't wait to take Jace swimming this year. By then he will be around 6-months-old. He loves bathtime so I'm assuming he will enjoy swimming.

I know there is a place in Bolingbrook to go to a public pool but I'm not sure about the cost or if I have to have a card or something. Please comment if you have any info to share — and if you have been there is it baby friendly? I know I need to start preparing now with sun screen and hats for him. And always make sure he is hydraded if outside. I'm also going to ask my doctor about swimming in a public pool too. I told someone I was excited about going and she was shocked I'd want to take my baby in a pool because of the chemicals and germs. So I just want to make sure its OK. I went when I was young and never had any troubles.

Do you think people worry to much these days about EVERYTHING? Seems its hard to just relax and speak your mind because someone always chimes in with an opinion or a "you shouldn't do that" when it comes to my baby. Maybe they are just trying to help. But I like to keep it positive when I give/get advice.
