GET TIPS FROM THE KNITTING DIVA

Regstration starts Sept. 1st for Free Knitting or Crocheting Weekend Boot Camps to be held at the Fountaindale Public Library Oct 12th and 13th. Sign up as early as 12am online, as classes will be limited to 10 knitting students and 10 crocheting students. We have filled up quickly in the past.  Please register soon, so you don't end up on a waiting list. This is the link to the library's events page. Look for information on the October calender. http://host7.evanced.info/fountaindale/evanced/eventcalendar.asp
Both adults and teens will be included. The Weekend Boot Camp will also be repeated in November. Advanced teachers will instruct beginners on the basic techniques needed to create a project. I'll be happy to share some of my 50+ years of knitting experience with a small group of serious students. I will challenge my group to create something unique, that they can use right away. Once the other teachers and myself have taught you the basics, feel free to join our Knitter's Nest Drop-in on Monday nights from 6pm until 8:30pm or Thursday mornings between 10am through 12pm. You will find out why this is one of  the library's most sucessful programs.
You don't need to be a granny to knit or crochet. People of all ages and of both genders have taken up this creative trend. I'll bring in some of my most unusual projects, to inspire the knitting Diva in everyone!
