Celebrate 'Week of the Young Child' With Bolingbrook Park District

Celebrate young children and their families with the during Week of the Young Child.

The program kicks off Sunday and runs through Friday, April 27. The week will include free activities throughout the district, including Sunday's Tons of Trucks event and Kid's Vendor Fair at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Center, Wednesday's Dave's Traveling World of Reptiles at the Annerino Community Center, and an ice cream social next Friday at the BRAC.

The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual event created by National Association for the Education of Young Children to focus public attention on the needs of children and their families. The NAEYC believes that early learning years are critical to a child’s success in school and later life.
