Family Remembers Romeoville Teen as A 'Beautiful, Goofy, Silly-Hearted Girl'

Services for 15-year-old Briana Valle are slated for Feb. 23 and 24.

Visitation and funeral services for slain Romeoville High School freshman Briana Valle are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, according to the teen's obituary.

Valle, 15, died this week after she and her mother, 33-year-old Alicia Guerrero, were shot outside their Emery Avenue home.

Visitation for Briana is scheduled for 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Russo's Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road in Hillside. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 200 W. Romeo Road in Romeoville.

In her obituary, Valle's family remembers her as a "little fashionista queen," and a loving daughter and friend:

"Passed away suddenly on Monday Feb. 17th, 2014 at the age of 15. Loving Daughter of Alicia F. Guerrero and Alejandro Valle. Fond granddaughter of Maria Morales, Alejandro and Anacleta, nee Anaya, Valle. Loving and special sister to Jesse Valle. Dear niece of Mikaela (Adrian) Lopez, Samerah (Haithem) Issa, Gabriela (Frank) Guzman, Araceli Valle and Honorio Valle. Loving cousin to Eman, Saleh, Hamza, Ella, Chance, Bruno, Liliana, Stephanie, Daisy, Adam, Frank and Kaitlyn. Very special friend to everyone.

Briana was a true little fashionista queen, she loved to dress up, fix up her hair and put her makeup on for just about any occasion. She loved listening to music, spending time with her cousins and friends, spending time with her special friend Tony, and spending quality time with her loving family. But most of all she enjoyed the special time she shared bonding with her mom, "OG".
