In response to garbage bin comment from Vicki

Well Vicki, there's your problem. "The Trash Company" and the Mayor.  I just moved back to Illinois from out of state and found it comical that BB is still operating decades behind everyone else when it comes to trash management.  I left 20 years ago, so you can imagine I was shocked to still see filth and garbage bags lining the curbs of a suburb that prides itself on competing with Naperville for homeowners. I can tell you for a fact that A) the bins the original commenter is speaking of aren't capable of moving, or blowing around any neighborhood, and quite frankly even if they did, are you suggesting that an empty garbage can turned over is more disturbing then the filth as is lining our curbs?  The bins have two wheels in the back and are heavy enough not to blow anywhere.  B) Drivers don't even touch the bins.  The truck has a lift on the side that grabs the bin and empties it inside. What's going on is Mr. Mayor is in bed with Mr. Garbage Company Owner.  There are plenty of garbage companies in the surrounding area who have this capability, but for reasons that seem obvious to me they aren't allowed into BB.  I can assure you if I were to start a petition there would be plenty of supporters who are tired of the eyesores that accompany garbage day.  The irony is comical, as landscapers plant beautiful perennials up and down 53, yet garbage and filth line our streets, and the front curb of our homes.
