Marianne U. Kozlik (nee Bogolin) age 66 of Bolingbrook, IL passed away March 16, 2014 in Lisle, IL. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Laurae (Chris Dryjanski) and Eric (Kristin). Dear grandmother of Nicholas, Jack and Kassidy. Dear sister in law of Frank Kozlik. Dear niece of Jen Kovacic and Joan Steinman. Marianne’s organizations and positions held include, Executive Director – Community Service Council of Northern Will County, Will County Board Member, Will County Grant Coordinator, Worked with Gang Intervention for Will County, Founding member of the Bolingbrook Housing Association, Founder and Chief of Bolingbrook Code Enforcement Department under Mayor Bailey, Founding Director of the Will County Center for Community Concerns, Staff Member for the Girl Scouts of America, Past President, Bolingbrook Professional Women’s Organization, Managed local campaigns for Mayor Bailey and Mayor Claar, Managed GOP campaigns for Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Jim Edgar, Chuck Percy, Campaign Staffer for Chuck Percy, Lynn Martin, and Jack Davis. Marianne was a very loving and giving person. She impacted many people’s lives and made a positive difference in the Village, Township, County and in the State of Illinois. Funeral Service Wednesday March 19, 2014 10:00 A.M. at Bolingbrook-McCauley Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 530 W. Boughton Rd. (1 mi. West of Rt. 53, at Schmidt Rd.) Bolingbrook. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Bolingbrook, IL. Visitation Tuesday March 18, 2014 5-8 PM
