May 29

Window forced out on tractor, items stolen

Officers were called to the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive for the report of burglary to motor vehicle, police said. A window was forced out on a tractor and a GPS, Bluetooth, laptop, duffel bag of clothing and toolbox were stolen between May 28 and 29.  

Stereo stolen from unlocked car

Officers were called to the 800 block of Cloverdale Lane for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. Someone removed a Kenwood stereo from the unlocked car between May 26 and 29. The loss was valued at $500.

Contempt of court

Corte Clark, 22, 335 Springbrook Tr., Oswego, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. and charged with contempt of court on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said.

Resisting a peace officer, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor

Reymundo Zavala, 18, 449 Salem Sq. was arrested at 12:22 a.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor in Lot C of Beaconridge Drive, police said.

DUI

Kelly Thornton, 40, 12958 S. Stockton Ave., Plainfield, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop on the 12000 block of W. Boughton Road, police said.

May 28

Jeans, wallet, debit card and pocket knife stolen from car

Officers were called to the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a burglary of motor vehicle; a pair of jeans, wallet, DL, debit card and pocket knife were taken while the driver was sleeping between May 27 and 28, police said.

Theft from Meijer

Christopher Boadu, 18, 52D Fernwood Dr. was arrested at 1:24 a.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said.

Criminal damage to government property

A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with criminal damage to government property for an incident which occurred on May 4 on the 500 bock of Lily Cache Lane, police said.

Car window broken

A passenger window was broken to a car parked on the 700 block of Falconridge Way between 7:40 a.m. and 11:44 a.m., police said.

Ladders stolen from business

Officers were called to a business on the 200 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a burglary, police said. Two 10-foot ladders were stolen from inside the business between May 26 to 28, police said. The loss was valued at $400.

Victim battered

Officers responded for the report of a battery which occurred near Old Stone Drive, police said. The victim was battered by an unknown subject at 12:23 p.m.

Domestic battery, aggravated assault

Tony Yu, 24, 222 St. Andrews Dr., was arrested at 10:37 p.m. and charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault following a call to the residence, police said.

Driving under the influence, speeding

Gabriella Pontarelli, 20, 396 Pheasant Chase Dr., was arrested at 12:49 a.m. and charged with DUI, speeding and following too close following a traffic stop at Briarcliff Road and Denver Drive, police said.

May 27

Pedestrian violation, resisting a peace officer

Timothy Ray, 26, 411 Colony Ct., was arrested at 1:18 a.m. and charged with pedestrian violation and resisting a peace officer in Lot M of Beaconridge Drive, police said.

In-state warrant

Ricardo Romero, 20, 100 N. Cranberry Dr., was arrested at 3:11 a.m. and charged with in-state warrant, improper lane usage, improper turn at intersection and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Delaware Drive, police said.

In-state warrant

James Barnhill, 45, 153 W. Briarcliff Rd., was arrested at 1:49 p.m. and charged with in-state warrant on the 200 block of Hywood Lane, police said.
