$4,000 Bench Stolen: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Residential burglary, battery and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Jan. 8-9.

Jan. 9 

$4,000 aluminum bench stolen 

A 12’ aluminum bench was unscrewed from its base on the 900 block of Lily Cache Lane between Dec. 10 and Jan. 9, police said. The loss was valued at $4,000.

Jan. 8 

Residential burglary

Officers responded to the 100 block of Pilgrim Ct., for the report of a residential burglary, police said. The front door was kicked in, rooms were rummaged through and a 20” LCD TV was taken between 6:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. 

Battery 

Province Azia, 22, 25 P Fernwood Dr. was arrested and charged with battery following a call to the area, police said. 

Semi, trailer stolen from parking lot 

A 2002 Volvo semi and trailer were stolen from a parking lot on the 200 block of Royce Road between Jan. 2 and Jan. 8, police said.
