Armed Robberies at Foremost Liquors, Pay Day Loan Store in Bolingbrook

Two armed robberies took place last week in Bolingbrook, according to Bolingbrook police.

Dec. 2 

The first took place at Foremost Liquors, 419 N. Bolingbrook Dr., according to Bolingbrook police. Police responded to the store for the report of someone with a knife demanding money at midnight. 

Christopher Esbersen, 22, 779 Dunham Ct., was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery and unlawful use of a weapon. 

Dec. 5 

Police responded to Pay Day Loan Stone, 348 Commons Dr., for the report of an armed robbery at 4:41 p.m.

Witnesses said two people entered the store and one person displayed a handgun. Two others stayed outside the store. The pair inside the store then exited shortly afterwards.

No one was harmed and nothing was taken. No one has been charged in this incident.
