Bolingbrook Blotter: Aggravated Battery, DUI, Theft

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

May 6

Officers were called to Game Stop, 143 N. Weber Rd. for the report of a retail theft. Over eighty game envelopes were found scattered in a yard on Jennifer Ln.  The games were taken from the store and later sold at Disc Replay 
 

May 7

Officers were called to a business on the 1100 block of Remington Blvd. for the report of a theft. Suspect removed a bag of product from the building at 10:45 pm.  Loss valued at $115. 

May 8

A 1980 Frue trailer was removed from the parking lot on the 700 block of Veterans Pkwy. 

A 2009 Wabash trailer was removed from the parking lot on the 700 block of W. Crossroads Pkwy. 


May 9

Officers responded to the 800 block of Summit Ln. for the report of criminal damage to property. A vehicle was scratched between 12 and 9 a.m., police said.

Albert Wojda, 50, 6016 Woodward Ave, Downers Grove, was charged with DUI, speeding and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. and Feather Sound Dr., police said.

A residence window was damaged by a BB/pellet gun on the 200 block of Beaconridge Dr. 

Officers were called to Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft.  Unknown subject exited the store with bedding and rugs at 7:28 pm. Loss valued at $1,900.

May 10

Officers were called to a parking lot on the 700 block of E. Boughton Rd. for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle.  Unknown subject was seen exiting the victim’s vehicle at 11:07 am. Subject then ran off. A GPS, credit cards and a pair of sunglasses were taken. Loss valued at over $100. 

Officers were called to Johansen Farms, 710 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of criminal damage to property.  Several plants and flower pots were damaged and a display table was over.  Loss/damage valued at $1,500.   

Nicole Keller, 20, 8085 Hartford Ln. was charged with theft at Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., police said.

Charles Carrier, 19, 483 Columbine Dr., was charged with aggravated domestic battery and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the 200 block of Diane Ln. for the report of a domestic disturbance, police said. The victim was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.     

Officers were called to Meijer, 255 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Unknown subject took four bottles of liquor and exited the store without paying. Loss valued at $213.
