Bolingbrook Blotter: Customer Knocks Over Gas Station Display; Alcohol-Related Arrests

May 3

Juan Aguirre, 43, of the 2800 block of Lektorich Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. in the 500 block of Schmidt Road and charged with DUI, improper traffic lane use and driving too fast for conditions, police said.

May 4

Joanna Spyra, 18, of the 300 block of Orchard Drive, was arrested at 3:16 a.m. at Boughton Road and Delaware Drive and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, according to police.

May 5

Officers were called to the 200 block of Carol Lane for a report of damage to property. Someone had kicked the victim's mailbox, thrown lawn bags into the street and kicked the side panels of a parked vehicle, police said.

Someone stole an iPad and several pieces of jewelry from a home in the 100 block of Nottingham, police said.

An unknown subject became angry at a store employee at the Shell Gas Station, 398 S. Bolingbrook Dr., and overturned a drink display, police said.

May 6

Someone stole plastic containers from a locked corral in the back of a business in the 600 block of Boughton Road, police said.


May 7 

Suspects entered the Best Buy store, 315 N. Weber Road, and concealed a game under clothing before exiting the store without paying, police said. Estimated loss was $75.
