Bolingbrook Blotter: Glasses Stolen from LensCrafters; Stolen Jewelry, Stolen Car

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

April 13

Police responded to LensCrafters, 641 E. Bougton Road, for a report of a retail theft after two subjects entered the store, looked at glasses and then took 16 pairs of designer glasses before exiting the store, police said. The loss is estimated at $5,084.

April 14

Several pieces of jewelry worth $12,300 were stolen from the 700 block of Hartford Lane, police said.

April 19

Candice Bourassa, 39, of the 15000 block of Pinewood Road, Lockport, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. at Schmidt Road and Raider Way and charged with DUI, police said.

A 2000 Chevrolet Impala was stolen from a secured garage in the 300 block of Applewood Drive, according to police.

Someone rummaged through two cars parked in a driveway overnight in the 200 block of Plainview Drive, police said. Loose change was stolen.

April 20

Officers were called to Montana Charlie's Flea Market, 255 S. Joliet Road, for a report of criminal damage to property after an unknown offender scratched the side door of a car and let the air out of three tires, police said.
