Bolingbrook Blotter: Driver Crashes Through Store Window; DUI, Theft Arrests

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

April 30

Jessica Russell, 28, of the 1000 block of Briarcliff Road, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. at Whitewater Drive and Boughton Road and charged with DUI, possession of drug equipment, driving without lights and speeding, police said.

May 1

Someone stole about $130 in cash from a bedroom safe in the 300 block of Huntington Way, police said.

Justin Underwood, 26, of the 1500 block of Spring Oaks Drive, Joliet, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. at Lily Cache Lane and Route 53 and charged with two counts of DUI, speeding and improper lane use, police said.

May 2

Alexa Cairo, 23, of the 300 block of Hale Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. and charged with reckless driving and disobeying a stop sign after driving through the window of a business in the 300 block of Weber Road, police said.

Ruben Morales, 39, of the 100 block of Circle Drive, Joliet, was charged with theft from a business on the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive, police said.

Daniela Ortega, 25, of the 4500 block of Shubert Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. and charged with theft from Hollister, 627 E. Boughton Road, police said.

Suspects exited Kohl's, 1138 W. Boughton Road, with several clothing items without paying, police said.

Someone stole 12 electrical cords, worth a total of $7,200, from trucks in the parking lot of a business in the 200 block of Marquette Drive, police said.
