Bolingbrook Blotter: DUI, Theft, Aggravated Assault

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

May 7

Malik Chappell, 20, of the 1800 block of Marne Road, was arrested and charged with theft and obstructing justice after allegedly stealing an iPhone in the 200 block of North Weber Road, police said.

May 13

Angela King, 35, of the 26000 block of Hemlock, Channahon, was arrested at Home Depot, 105 N. Weber Road, and charged with theft, police said.

May 15

Megan Brooks, 26, of the 24000 block of Park Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. in the 1300 block of Lily Cache Lane and charged with DUI, driving too fast for conditions and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a battery at 7:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Remington Boulevard. Police said the victim was transported to an area hospital for injuries.

May 16

Timothy Williams, 21, of the 200 block of Porter Lane, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. at Old Stone Drive and Schmitt Road and charged with aggravated assault after police responded to a report of subjects fighting in the area.

Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive and stole a GPS unit, police said. Loss and damage estimated at $400.
