Bolingbrook Blotter: DUIs, Slashed Tire, Car Burglary

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

March 30

Someone stole a Samsung tablet, GPS and tax forms from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Tiger Court, police said.

March 31

Jack Milas, 41 of the 4900 block of Ridgewood, Norridge, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. at Bolingbrook Drive and Beaconridge and charged with DUI, traffic signal violation and no insurance, police said.

Michael Coggiola, 61, of the 300 block of Whitewater Drive was arrested at 11:20 a.m. at Boughton Road and Whitewater and charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and violating a traffic signal, according to police.

April 1

Someone stole a package from a doorstep in the 800 block of Summit Lane, resulting in a loss of $110, police said.

Someone stole two pairs of earrings, worth a total of $30, from Kohll's, 1138 Boughton Road, police said.

Someone forced open three lockers at L.A. Fitness, 506 Janes Ave., and stole wallets and several credit cards, police said.

A tire was slashed on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Bedford Road, police said.

April 2

Narvell Scott, 21, of the 100 block of Valley Dr.; Scottie Price, 18, of the 400 block of  Wyeth Circle; and a 17-year-old were all charged with criminal trespass to property. Matthew Brooks, 18, of the 400 block of Sword Way, was charged with criminal trespass to property and resisting a peace officer in the 500 block of Preston Drive, police said.

Someone removed two metal grates from the dock to a business in the 800 block of East Boughton Road, police said.
