Bolingbrook Blotter: Stolen Purse; Vandal Runs Across Hood of Car

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

June 9

A tool bag
was taken form a vehicle parked on the 500 block S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. Total loss is estimated at $1,300.

Someone stole 12 power cords from refrigeration trucks at a business in the 200 block of Marquette Drive, police said. The total loss is estimated at $6,000.

Someone opened a rear door at a home in the 200 block of Davis Lane and stole a purse that was on a table, police said.

June 10

An unknown subject ran across the hood of a car and broke the windshield on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Jamestown Lane, according to police.

Someone left Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., with a cart full of DVD, stealing a total of $1,200 in merchandise, police said.
