Bolingbrook Blotter: Victim Robbed of Wallet, Phone While Walking Home

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

Feb. 12

Kathryn Hiero, of 15655 116th Ave., Orland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal and driving an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Aspen Drive, police said.

Feb. 14

Someone stole several pieces of jewelry from a home in the 100 block of Sycamore, police said.

Tyree Nettles, 22, of the 2600 block of Forest Way, Woodridge, was arrested and charged with resisting a peace officer, driving without a license and violating a traffic sign following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Bolingbrook Drive, according to police.

Police a victim was grabbed from behind and punched while walking home around 9:48 p.m. in the area of Blair Lane and Schmidt Road. An unknown subject took the victim's cell phone and wallet before fleeing, according to police.

Feb. 15

Someone stole a snow blower and four bicycles from a garage in the 100 block of Delmar Drive, according to police.

Police said someone kicked in the front door of a home in Lot Q on Fernwood Rive, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
