Bolingbrook Blotter: Wallet, Cigarettes Stolen from Sleeping Victim

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

Feb. 19

Eileen Seaton, 41, of the 1100 block of Ohio Street, Glenwood, was charged with improper lane use and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Schmidt Road, police said.

Someone damaged three windows on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lexington Drive, police said.

Feb. 17

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Old Chicago Drive, police said.

Someone stole a wallet and pack of cigarettes, with a total value of $90, from a vehicle in the 500 block of Bolingbrook Drive while the victim was sleeping, police said.

Feb. 16

Someone stole a cell from from a business in the 100 block of North Weber Road, according to police. Estimated value of the phone is $200.

Someone stole a cell from from a business in the 300 block of Brookview Lane,  according to police. Estimated value of the phone is $400.

Feb. 15

Nathan Vargas, 22, of the 700 block of Rogers Road, Romeoville, was arrested and charged with improper lane use, driving too fast for conditions, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at Lawton Lane and Frontage Road, police said.
