Bolingbrook Blotter: Woman Accused of Stealing From Victoria's Secret

Arrests, incidents reported by Bolingbrook police.

July 5

Alexis Nwankwo, 27, of 1399 Danhof Dr., was arrested and charged with DUI, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.

Ryan Miller, 35, of 136 Leslie Ln., was arrested and charged with DUI and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Lyons Drive, according to police.

Kiera Barfield, 20, of 5407 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with two counts of retail theft and resisting a peace officer, after allegedly shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret, 641 E. Boughton Rd., and running from officers, police said.

July 6

Police responded to the 200 block of Diane Court for a report of criminal damage to property after the window to the front door was damaged as 12:30 p.m., police said. In another incident, police responded to the same block at 2:30 p.m after a mirror and window were damaged, according to police.

July 7

Officers responded to the 400 block of Mallview Lane for the report of a robbery. A victim was approached by unknown subjects while walking near Lot O of Beaconridge Drive, police said. The victim was battered and a cell phone, U.S. currency and shoes were taken, according to police.

Shava Jackson, 19, of 416 Salem Sq., and Devonte Roberson, 18, of 457 Sauk Ln., were arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property on the 100 block of Queenswood Drive, police said.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Delaware Circle for the report of criminal damage to property after unknown subjects egged the residence, police said.

Someone stole a mountain bike from inside a garage in the 100 block of Sandalwood Lane, police said. The loss is estimated at $400.

July 8

Officers were called to an office on the 1000 block of Remington Blvd. for the report of a theft. Unknown subjects were seen in an office, police said.

Gabriela Romero, 26, of 2E Fernwood Dr., was arrested and charged with hit and run, no valid driver’s license and moving violation following a traffic stop at Fernwood Drive and Lily Cache Lane, police said.
