Bolingbrook 'Cop on Rooftop' Effort Raises Money for Special Olympics

Bolingbrook police work to support Special Olympics of Illinois.

The Bolingbrook Police Department proudly participated in the Annual “Cop on Rooftop” event to support Special Olympics Illinois today.

This year's event, held at the Dunkin Donuts at 245 S. Bolingbrook Drive, was organized by Bolingbrook Sgt. Kristopher Schrubbe, Officer Vince Radaker, Officer Brigitte Balcer and Telecommunication Supervisor Mary Jo Lewandowski.

In addition, roughly 20 Bolingbrook officers dedicated their time to support this great cause by promoting the event from the rooftop and by accepting donations.
