Cops Bust Brothers Passed Out in Car With Heroin

Brian Morales, of Joliet, and Kevin Morales, of Romeoville, were passed out in Walmart's parking lot when cops found a heroin needle in their car.

Two area brothers face drug charges after police say they caught them passed out in a car with a heroin needle nearby.

Bolingbrook Lieutenant Mike Rompa said security alerted police of two men passed out in their car. Upon arrival, police found Brian Morales, 24, of the 800 block of Sudbury Drive in Joliet, and Kevin Morales, 23, of the 1200 block of Santa Fe Road in Romeoville unresponsive in their car.

Rompa said a needle, allegedly filled with heroin, was later located in the car and because of their unresponsiveness, the Bolingbrook Fire Department was called and the brothers were taken to the for treatment.

Both were taken into custody upon being released from the hospital and now face felony charges of illegal possession of 30 or more grams of heroin.
