Bolingbrook Cops Raise More than $2,000 for Special Olympics

Bolingbrook cops stood atop a Bolingbrook Dunkin' Donuts Friday as part of the annual "Cop on Top" fundraiser.

Members of the Bolingbrook Police Department raised almost $2,200 during the Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser “Cop on Top" Friday.

The Dunkin Donuts location at 245 S. Bolingbrook Dr. once again hosted the event.

On June 11, the Bolingbrook Police will host their portion of the Annual Torch Run, which will eventually conclude at the summer games in Bloomington, IL.

Bolingbrook has assisted the Special Olympics for about 20 years and has partnered with several other local establishments to assist the organization. Red Robin and Gordon Biersch have also hosted fundraisers.
