James "Jorrelle" Moore, Jr. reached out to IAW for help. His project included installing hydrant markers in his community as a public safety service, according to a release.

Illinois American Water purchased 100 marker flags to make the hydrants visible in the snow.

Moore enlisted 30 people to help with the project, including other Boy Scouts and Bolingbrook firefighters. IAW trained the volunteers on how to install the markers.

“It went great because of the volunteers and the water company and all their help," Moore said. "I couldn’t have done it without their support."
