Officers on foot patrol called on their instincts to nab a convicted felon up to no good once again in the Beaconridge development complex on Wednesday night, according to Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa.
When Williams started to walk away quickly, officers grew suspicious.
"Wiliams was found to be in possession of a switchblade knife and a baggie of cannabis," Rompa said.
Williams was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and possession of cannabis, according to police records. He was taken into custody at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, processed and then transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Williams has a long list of prior arrests, including a couple involving robberies and aggravated battery/great bodily harm, according to Will County Sheriff's Office records.
