Updated: Missing Bolingbrook Girl Found

Ariel Reyes, 17, was last seen a week ago in Rockford.

Updated 4 p.m. 

A 17-year-old  girl reported missing has been found in Romeoville. 

Police said Ariel had agreed with her legal guardians that she would be living at a friend's house in Bolingbrook, but left there to stay with her biological mother in Rockford. According to police, Ariel later left Rockford via a ride from a friend.

Bolingbrook police began observing a home in Romeoville Monday thought to be her location, and she was located around 4 p.m. Monday. 

The incident remains under investigation.

A 17-year-old Bolingbrook girl has been reported missing. 

Ariel Reyes was last seen a week ago in Rockford. She went missing while traveling back from Rockford to Bolingbrook, according to ABC Chicago.

Her brother describes her as mixed Hispanic, according to ABC. Click here to see a photo of Reyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call police. Family members are posting flyers and reaching out on social media to find Reyes.
