A Bolingbrook man is accused of dealing drugs out the home where he lived with two juveniles, according to police.
Bolingbrook Police Department's REACT Unit executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Larkspur Drive as the result of an ongoing investigation of narcotics sales, Lt. Mike Rompa said.
Police who entered the home found one adult male, one adult female and two juveniles in the home, Rompa said.
During the search, Bolingbrook's Problem Oriented Police Unit recovered a hand gun, ammunition, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and were also able to seize currency and electronic equipment.
Joan Salazar, 25, was arrested and transported to the Will County jail, where he was booked on charges of armed violence, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment, police said.
No one was injured in the incident, according to Rompa.
Salazar's bond was set at $500,000, according to jail records.
