Bolingbrook Man Busted for Child Porn

A Bolingbrook man who allegedly used his computer to download and exchange pornographic videos and photos of children was arrested Monday, Joliet police said.

Marco Lujano, 25, of 108 Delmar Drive, Bolingbrook, was booked on three counts of aggravated child pornography and one count of child pornograpy stemming from an investigation that began with information obtained by the Will County State's Attorney's Office, Joliet Lt. Brian Dupuis said.

Evidence showed that Lujano was using a computer at his then-Joliet home in the 7700 block of Boxwood Lane to access photos and videos featuring underage children and to share files with others, Dupuis said.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Lujano's home only to learn he had moved to Bolingbrook, he said. They took him into custody near Living Water Community Church in Bolingbrook, where he was doing community service as part of a suspended sentence for an unrelated crime, Dupuis said.

It's not clear how long Lujano had been accessing child porn, but investigators noted that his activity stopped in April, Dupuis said. After interviewing Lujano, they learned he had sold his computer because he needed money, Dupuis said.

Because the incidents in question happened in the Kendall County portion of Joliet, county officials were brought into the investigation and Lujano was booked into the Kendall County jail, Dupuis said.
