Imagine that....more crap stolen from cars in Fernwood, gang infested area should know better.....and that makes it into the paper...Have your only transportation, a bicycle that was chained to a bike rack stole and the cops tell you not a priority good luck getting your bike back, your S.O.L. (and they have a perfect picture of the thief). What a screwed up town.

I am SO sick and tired of everyone going off on Bolingbrook and only getting the bad news reported. We've lived here for 25 years and get along fine with our neighbors. It is NOT a screwed-up town -- there's just some screwed-up people who choose to live here and commit crimes. Instead of complaining, how about volunteering for the food pantries or community agencies? Let's make it better, not trash it on the internet.

STFU the bike that was stolen was probably some one elses in the first place. Gangs, punks and teenage single parents are taking over Bolingbrook. You are right about the town , its screwed up!

I wasnt bad mouthing Bolingbrook....I loved Bolingbrook....I was making a comment that they post that things are stolen but when someones only mode of transportation is stole the cops tell them oh well sucks to be you and its not even in the paper...When I lived in Bolingbrook it was a wonderful place to live and I WAS involved with the community...I moved because I couldnt afford to live there.....

No the bike wasnt someone elses once... this person got the bike for his birthday because he couldnt afford a car. And no Bolingbrook is a good place just to expensive to live....I moved to a small town in Indiana because a one bedroom apartment was $295.00 including water, sewage, and garbage and it is nicer then the studio I had in Bolingbrook that I was paying over $1000 for. And this landlord cares about his buildings.
