Police Blotter: $400 Stolen from Home, Public Intoxication, Littering

Resisting a peace officer, car parts stolen and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Sept. 7 and 8.

Sept. 8 

Resisting a peace officer, battery 

Courtney Brown, 22, of 324 Aristocrat Dr., Kevontay Williams, 18, of 1927 S. Sawyer Ave., Chicago and a 16-year-old were all arrested at 11:40 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer and battery after a call to the 100 block of Remington Boulevard for the report of loud music, Bolingbrook police said.

Muffler part, catalytic converter cut from car 

Officers were called to the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft, police said. Part of a muffler and the catalytic converter were cut from a car parked in the lot between Sept. 7 and 8.

GPS stolen from unlocked car 

A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked car parked on the 200 block of Canterbury Lane, police said. 

Criminal trespass to property 

A 17-year-old was arrested at 5:51 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass to property in Lot M of Beaconridge, police said. 

In-state warrant 

Dimitri Staley, 50, of 237 Northridge Ave., was arrested at 3:43 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

Sept. 7 

Public intoxication, littering 

Zachary Spears, 26, of 134 E. Bailey St., Naperville, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. and charged with criminal offences, public intoxication and littering on the 300 block of N. Schmidt Road, police said. 

$400 in cash stolen from home 

Officers responded to the Lot W of Fernwood for the report of a residential burglary at 4:30 p.m., police said. A witness states he or she saw unknown subjects exit the residence. It was later discovered by the homeowner that cash was taken. The loss was valued at $400.

Trailer hitch, spare tire 

Officers responded for the report of theft of motor vehicle parts which occurred on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Road, police said. A trailer hitch and a spare tire were stolen from a car in the parking lot between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., police said. 

In-state warrant 

Michael Honiotes, 44, of 240 N. Island Dr. in Morris, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 1400 block of W. Boughton Road, police said.
