Police Blotter: Assault, Disorderly Conduct

Resisting a peace officer, public consumption of alcohol and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Sept. 16 and 17.

Sept. 17 

Public consumption of alcohol 

Michael Johnson, 21, of 16B Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 11:45 p.m. and charged with public consumption of alcohol on the 300 block of Fieldstone Court, police said.

Assault, disorderly conduct 

Zachary Spears, 26, of 497 Bloomfield Dr., was arrested at 8:28 p.m. and charged with assault and disorderly conduct on the 300 block of N. Schmidt Road, police said.

Resisting a peace officer 

David Manzanares, 20, of 311 Homewood Dr., was arrested at 9:20 p.m. and charged with driving on a suspended license and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop at Schmidt Road and Lily Cache Lane, police said. 

Sept. 16 

Aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer 

Brandon Haynie, 26, of 212 Shady Ln., was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer following a call to the 800 block of Poplar Lane in reference a suspicious person, Bolingbrook police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Anthony Palkovics, 25, of 515 Chamberlain Ln. in Naperville, was arrested at 3:40 a.m. and charged with improper lane usage, no insurance, and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop on the 100 block of Royce Road, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Michael Rivera, 31, of 3224 83rd St. in Woodridge, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. and charged with driving w/out lights, DUI and no valid registration following a traffic stop on the 700 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
