Knocking on guest doors, fighting with employees
Elonta McDowell, 18, of 322 Woodcreek Dr., and Andrew Herrera, 20, of 135 Delaware Dr., were both arrested at 1:25 a.m. and charged with battery on the 100 block of Remington Boulevard after a call to Springhill Suites for the report of suspicious persons knocking on guest doors and fighting with employees, said.
Criminal trespass to residence
Andrew Herrera, 20, of 135 Delaware Dr., was arrested at 1:39 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass to residence on 100 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.
Disorderly conduct, assault and resisting a peace officer
Jose Aguirre, 18, of 11U Fernwood Dr., and Julian Aguirre, 18, of 11U Fernwood Dr., were both arrested at 3:59 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and resisting a peace officer in Lot S of Fernwood Dr., after a call to the area for the report of a fight in progress, police said.
Aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer
Julian Aguirre, 18, of 11U Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 5:53 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer in Lot U of Fernwood Drive, police said.
Wallet stolen from cart
Officers were called to Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of a theft, police said. A wallet was stolen from a cart while the victim was distracted by a second subject between 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The loss was valued at $140.
Driving under the influence
Jorge Roman, 22, 194 Clifton Ln., was arrested at 2:36 a.m. and charged with improper lane usage, driving on a suspended license and DUI following a traffic stop on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.
Credit card fraud
Kenneth Cole, 33, of 1061 Amherst Ln. in University Park, was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with credit card fraud on the 600 block of E. Boughton Road, police said.
A bicycle was stolen from a garage on the 1400 block of Waterside Drive between noon and 1 p.m., police said. The loss was valued at $900.
