Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Fight, Residential Burglary, Thefts

An attempted residential burglary, group arrested following fight and more reported to the Bolingbrook Police Department from Dec. 17-18.

Dec. 18 

Residential burglary 

Officers responded to the 200 block of Douglass Way for the report of residential burglary, police said. The homeowner discovered the front door kicked in and a Wii game system, TV, digital camera and chair were stolen. The loss and damage was valued at $3,100.

Attempted residential burglary 

Officers responded to Keystone Court for the report of an attempted residential burglary, police said. The thief left the residence when he realized the homeowner was present. Nothing was taken.

Fight 

Officers called to the 1100 block of John Hancock Drive for the report of a fight, police said. Edmond Ramey, 20, 739 Countryside Dr., was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and domestic battery. A 17-year-old was also arrested and charged with aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. 

Face plate stolen from unlocked car 

Unknown subject entered an unlocked car parked on the 200 block of Diane Lane and removed a Pioneer radio face plate between 1 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., police said. 

Cab window shattered, computer stolen 

A cab window was shattered and a bag containing a laptop was taken between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., police said. The car was parked on the 200 block of E. Old Chicago Drive. The loss was valued at $2,000. 

Dec. 17 

Disorderly conduct 

Camilla Newson, 22, of 2548 Waterbury Dr. in Woodridge; Zachary Brown, 19, of 268 Waterman Dr. in Bolingbrook and Antwonn McGee, 20, of 3905 Tower Dr. in Richton Park, were all arrested at 12:14 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct for refusing to leave a party after being instructed to do so several times by officers on the 100 block of Remington Boulevard, police said.  

Theft 

Officers responded to a business on the 200 block of Internationale Dr. for the report of a theft, police said. Deliveries were made to non-customers between Oct. 23 and Nov. 7. 

Wallet stolen from purse 

A wallet was taken from a purse while the victim was shopping on the 755 block of E. Boughton Road at 1 p.m., police said. 

Hole cut in fence, tires stolen 

Officers were called to a business on the 500 block of St. James Gate for the report of a theft, police said. A hole was cut in a fence to gain entry and numerous tires were taken between Dec. 14 and 17. The loss was valued at $1,600.

Criminal trespass 

Benjamin Rivers, 23, 340 Claridge Cir., was arrested at 3 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass to vehicle on the 300 block of Blackfoot Drive, police said.
