Police Blotter: Front Door Kicked In, Windows Broken

Aug. 15 

Front door kicked in, doors, windows broken

Officers were called to the 100 block of Somerset Lane for the report of criminal damage to property, said. The front door was found kicked in and the rear door and windows were broken between 9:45 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. 

Loose change stolen from car 

Loose change was stolen from a secured vehicle on Lot F of Fernwood Drive between Aug. 14 and 15, police said. 

Gasoline stolen  

Officers were called to Speedway, 447 N. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of retail theft, police said. Suspects pumped gas and drove off without paying. The loss was valued at $46. 

Bike stolen outside Bolingbrook Park District

A black camouflage bicycle was stolen from outside the Bolingbrook Park District, 200 S. Lindsey Ln., between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., police said. The loss was valued at $50. 

Wallet stolen from car 

A wallet was stolen from a secured car on the 300 block of Rosebud Court between 3 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., police said. 

In-state warrant

Jozmin Williams, 22, of 1209 Clark St. in Joliet, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant, no valid registration and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on S. Bolingbrook Drive at I-55 at 1:20 pm., police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Wisdom Onyegbule, 23, of 8604 47th St., Lyons, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. and charged with driving without lights and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Winston Drive, police said. 

Domestic battery

Offices were called to the 100 block of Somerset Lane for the report of a domestic disturbance, police said. Jerry Williams, Jr., 24, of 220 Beaconridge Dr., was arrested at 5:11 p.m. and charged with domestic battery and aggravated battery.

In-state warrant

Victoria Bell, 20, of 241 Apache Ln., was arrested at 5:24 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

Aug. 14 

Possession of marijuana

Nicholas Evans, 23, of 1336 E. Locust Rd., Canton, IL, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. and charged with failure to signal, improper lane usage and possession of marijuana following traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and I-55, police said. 

In-state warrant

Shawn Rodges, 22, 525 Emerson Dr., was arrested at 2:05 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 400 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

AC unit stolen from home

An air conditioning unit was stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Thomas Road between Aug. 1 and 14, police said.
